FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you sell?

I create whimsical, eco-friendly goods made from reclaimed materials. My shop features upcycled toy keychains, upcycled book journals, enamel pins, magnets, and original art prints. Each piece is thoughtfully handmade and designed to give pre-loved materials a second life. My art prints are printed in small batches by a local small business.

Are your items really one of a kind?

Yes! Every upcycled item is one of a kind. Because I work with reclaimed toys and books, no two pieces are ever exactly the same. Once an item is sold, it cannot be replicated.

What does "upcycled" mean?

Upcycling means transforming pre-existing materials into something new and functional instead of throwing them away. By upcycling toys and books, I help reduce waste and keep usable materials out of landfills while creating something fun and meaningful.

Are your products handmade?

They are! Each item is handmade by me with care and attention to detail. Small imperfections may be present and are part of the charm and uniqueness of handmade and upcycled goods.

Who are your products for?

My items are loved by people who enjoy whimsical design, nostalgia, eco-friendly shopping, and one-of-a-kind accessories. They also make great gifts for kids at heart, journal lovers, and anyone who enjoys playful, sustainable finds.

Are the toy keychains safe for children?

My keychains are designed as accessories and collectibles, not toys. They may contain small parts and are best suited for teens and adults. Please keep them out of reach of small children.

What kind of pages are inside the journals?

Journal interiors vary by piece. Some include lined pages, some include a mix of lined and blank pages, and others may be fully lined. Each product listing clearly describes what's inside so you know exactly what you're getting.

Do you restock sold-out items?

Because my items are one of a kind, exact restocks are not possible. However, I regularly release new collections using different reclaimed materials. If you love something, I recommend grabbing it before it's gone!

Can I reserve an item?

Item reservations are available exclusively for email subscribers. If you're on my email list and would like to reserve a piece for a short time, please email me as soon as possible and I'll do my best to help.

How long will it take for my order to ship?

Orders are typically processed within a few business days. Since everything is handmade, processing times may vary slightly during launches or busy periods. Shipping estimates are provided at checkout. For full details, see my Shipping Policy.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! International orders are shipped out once a week (Mondays).

International Duties & Customs
International orders shipped outside of Canada may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. These fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Nebo Child Illustrates & Upcycles is not responsible for customs charges, delays caused by customs processing, or packages refused due to unpaid import fees. By placing an international order, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any applicable fees.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of my items, I do not accept returns or exchanges. If there is an issue with your order, please contact me and I'll work with you to make things right.

How can I stay updated on new releases?

The best way to stay in the loop is by joining my email list or following me on social media. Subscribers get early access to launches, behind-the-scenes updates, and first looks at new collections.

How can I contact you?

You can reach me through the contact form on my website or by email at nebochildillustrates@gmail.com. I do my best to respond within 1–2 business days.
